DELIVERY TERMS

​

  • Gift It deliveries available Australia wide only. T/C apply on all furniture deliveries. 

  • All Gift it orders will be booked & dispatched within 5-10 business working days after payment has been received and confirmed.

  • Please allow an additional 3-5 business working days in transit. Interstate orders may vary.

  • We do not offer free delivery on any furniture items. Furniture items can only be purchased online or in-store.

FURNITURE DELIVERY

​

  • Pick up in store or third-party courier delivery option available at an additional cost. (door-to-door service)

  • Delivery fee is From $35/piece for Bedside and Side Table; and $80/piece for Console, Buffet, Coffee Table and Cabinet.

  • All Furniture pieces are triple check prior to dispatch, some drivers will conduct a check up of the item, at the time of delivery.

  • Once a signature has been obtained by the driver/courier for all items, any returns for damaged or faulty items will not be accepted.

  • Please contact us for a quote on specific orders.

  • Important Notice on Fragile Products - For orders containing fragile, large, or heavy items, please note that these products will require palletizing ensure safe transport and prevent damage. An additional invoice will be sent to you, and payment must be made before dispatch. This procedure is meant to protect your interests; if you are unhappy with the freight charges, your order will canceled. Gift It will not be responsible for any damages, and a full refund will be processed.

  • Delivery Information for Rural Locations** For orders placed online that require delivery to rural suburbs, all items will be palletized to prevent any damage during transport. An additional invoice will be emailed to customers, which must be paid prior to dispatch. This measure taken in the best interest of our customers. If you are not satisfied with the freight charges, your order will be canceled, and Gift It will not be liable for any damages, resulting in a full refund.

DELIVERY ADDRESS

Goods will be delivered to the address specified on the order. In instances where the delivery address is an office address, shared house or apartment, the delivery agent will make reasonable attempts to contact you however, you agree that we may deliver to an individual at the delivery address and will be able to rely on that individuals instructions as if they were your own.

Upon checking out online, please review the product details to determine if larger items require self-assembly.

Note: Unpacking, assembly and installation fees are not included as part of your delivery fee.

Gift it reserve the right to not deliver an order if it is believed that the address is not secure. If there are any issues with your order, a Gift it representative will contact you.

ONLINE ORDERS -GENERAL RETURN TERMS

  • ​If you have received an item that is faulty or damaged, please send an email to support@giftit.com.au with photos clearly showing the damages. A member of our team will contact you to arrange a replacement or discuss alternative solutions.

  • Please note that we cannot accept returns or issue refunds for change of mind.

  • However, we do offer exchanges within 7 days of receiving the item. All exchanges must be initiated either in-store or by emailing support@giftit.com.au. Items should be returned safely and in their original packaging.

 

  • For interstate returns due to change of mind: The customer is responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning the goods.

  • Items must be packaged securely to prevent breakages during transit.

  • The shipping address for returns is as follows: 28-29/753 Hume Highway, Basshill, NSW, 2197.

  • Once we receive the returned items and confirm they are undamaged, a full refund for the item (excluding shipping costs) will be processed.

  • Please be aware that Gift It will not be held liable for damages that occur during transit for returns. We strongly recommend that customers consider purchasing additional insurance when shipping items back.

  • Defective & damaged items are exempt from the above policy. If you have a defective or damaged item, please email us or contact one of our stores within 24hrs of receiving your items, and a member of the Gift It team will be happy to assist you.

  • We take great care in the packaging of our items for interstate shipping, ensuring a thorough inspection before dispatch. If a customer deliberately damages an item, we regret to inform you that we will not be able to accept claims for return or exchange, as we maintain records and images of all items prior to shipping. Thank you for your understanding.

You may also return an item in-store at any of our Gift It locations. Please ensure that your items meet the following return/exchange conditions and present a copy of your Tax Invoice:

  • Items are in saleable condition.

  • Items are unused, with original tags attached and/or in sealed packaging. 

  • You have retained a copy of your Tax Invoice. You can return your items for free at any Gift It location. Just make sure your goods comply with the return conditions outlined above and present your Tax Invoice to be eligible for an exchange. â€‹

INSTORE PURCHASES-GENERAL RETURN TERMS​

  • Change of Mind - Pillows and Cushions Return Policy: In accordance with NSW and Australian law, retailers are prohibited from accepting "change of mind" returns or exchanges on opened or used pillows due to stringent health, hygiene, and safety regulations. As a result, we are unable to offer any exchanges or returns on our pillows and cushions.

  • Generic Items: We do accept exchanges within 7 days of receiving the item. To initiate an exchange, please do so either in-store or by emailing support@giftit.com.au. Items must be returned securely and in their original packaging. Please note that special order requests or custom items are not eligible for exchange or return. Terms and conditions apply.

  • Faulty or Defective Items: Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), consumers are legally protected if a pillow presents a major issue, such as an internal tear, a manufacturing defect, or if it does not correspond with the description provided. In such cases, health regulations do not negate your rights. You are entitled to a repair or replacement; however, if the retailer is unable to provide a replacement, a refund will be issued. If you receive an item that is faulty or damaged upon purchase, please contact us immediately at support@giftit.com.au with photos clearly displaying the damages. Additionally, you may reach out to your local Gift It store to report the damages or issues. A member of our team will get in touch with you to arrange a replacement or discuss alternative solutions

FLOOR STOCK PURCHASES

​

All Floor stock purchases made online & instore may encounter slight flaws, or scratches & are sold as is. Please view the item prior to purchase. As all Floor stock purchases are not subject to any exchange or refund.

PROOF OF PURCHASE

​

For all Returns, exchanges or repair requests must be accompanied by any one of the following proof of purchase documents:

  • Original register receipt, an electronic or photograph will be accepted

  • Online Tax Invoice (order confirmations will not be accepted)

  • Original return/exchange receipt/gift receipt

  • Financial Statement (i.e. bank statement, credit card statement)
